TELL ME WHY

Why do camels have humps? It is a common notion that the humps contain water, enabling camels to survive for several days without a drink. However, the camels’ humps do not have water. The humps contain fatty tissues which break down to give energy during periods when there is insufficient food. Water is stored by the camel in its tissues.
